Yeah, this is really sad. I am no doctor, but I would be surprised if there wasn't another issue behind all of this; drugs, eating disorder, etc.

She just seemed like she would be a nice person in real life for some reason. Really sad...way too young. RIP.

Sad indeed. Interesting to note that in one report I read, her husband lost consciousness on a recent flight to Los Angeles from Puerto Rico where he and Brittany were returning from a movie shoot. He was rushed to hospital.

The assumption that the pair were/are drug addicted is a good bet.
