Better late than never ... rant

Just want to say how stupid I am. After our first big snow storm (Dec ?), and 7 hours of initial snow shovelling, I promised myself to get a snow thrower.

I waited and, of course, we got more snow! Anyone trying to find a snow thrower locally knows there's none to be had - at least the kind I'm looking for (2-stage).

Well, I finally located a Sears Craftsman, model 88791. Have to ship freight from Sears in Idaho to here. I should have it next Monday.

I'm kicking myself for not getting one sooner and saving all the back ache. BTW, we live on a dead-end street and its more than 100 ft. The plows NEVER clear it but, of course, just plows a mountain of snow blocking our street. Almost all our vehicles are 4x4/AWD but doesn't matter if you have 20+ inches of snow because there's not enough clearance.

This Thursday I'll be heading to sunny Aruba with the family. This Monday I hope we don't get any decent snow accumulation because I'm tired of snow!

Yikes! Well hopefully you'll get some use out of it! I'm also hoping Monday's "weather event" will be all rain. F THE SNOW!

A funny Facebook post by a friend of mine: Glad to see that snowblower I bought back in '95 is finally paying off!

Have a great time in Aruba!

Funny enough, we've hardly gotten any snow here in ID. While not as bad as you guys have had it, but the past few years we've gotten plenty of snow. It's been the coldest I've ever seen it here, but only snowed like 5 days total.

Enjoy Aruba, getting away is always good!

Yeah, it's been crazy here as we got record snowfall this time around. 59" and counting ...

You know, I didn't know where Idaho was and, when I went to look for the Sears location, I was surprised to see it so close to the Canadian border.

Heck I thought they would have been out of stock for sure!

Yeah, with my luck I'll never get to use the thing and we won't get more snow for the rest of my life - which would be fine by me!

Thanks! It'd be funny to come back and be SUN BURNED around all this snow.

Thanks guys! I'm looking forward to the weather but kinda worried/embarrassed going to the beach.

As my dad once told me, when I made fun of his belly ... there's a lot of investment there! Too much!
