You know why I like South Carolina?
I filled up my E90 with no-ethanol 93 yesterday and have run through the tank, getting about 3MPG more than normal. With the city and mountain driving I normally do, I usually return 17-18 mpg, and I'm well over 21. Yes, I did the old fashion calculations. It feels a lot "healthier" too but that could also be the placebo effect. Kiss my ass eco-freaks! |

I'm pretty sure the petrol stations here put in more than 10% Ethanol. Or water. I wish I could do a periodic random fuel analysis.

My last 135i coupe had an overall average of 24.5 mpg over 4500 miles. I think that is outstanding for a 300+hp car. I also use the no ethanol station to fill up, most of the time.

If I send you money, will you send some gas?

I would, really I would, but I'm afraid that would result in the plane diverting to Gitmo.
