Acura MDX vs BMW X5

Anyone notice that some Acura MDX owners are always wanting to race X5 owners? Had this happen to me three times in the past week.

Case 1: silver MDX pulls beside me at a stoplight, I catch the driver checking out my 3.0i X5 and as the light turns green he guns it races ahead of me, merges into my lane and brake checks me wtf?

Case 2: On an empty highway cruising along when a newer style black MDX starts tailgating me in the far most right lane, almost an inch off my bumper. As I'm already in the rightmost land on the highway I ease of the accelerator and this guy proceeds to aggressively overtake me after a good 5 minutes of tailgating.

Case 3: Had another silver MDX which would just not let me merge into traffic, I would accelerate, he would accelerate, I would brake, he would break

What gives? Anyone else have similar stories

Idiots drive all kinds of vehicles, including MDX's and X5's. Stay safe yourself and let them be idiots.

All i can say is that they're haters..plain and simple..they're all over the place..Note its always the hater and the lesser vehicle that wants to race and act a fool always..Guess its their way of searching for respect on the road.. what a joke.

I'd ignore them and just let them pass. Perhaps overtake them on the next offramp if y'all have two-lane cloverleaf ramps.

I have had every sort of car try to race me ever since I bought the X5. Funny thing is, I'm typically the very last one off the line because there are so many people who run red lights here. It's commonplace for the light to be red and have 4-6 cars fly through the intersection at 60+mph. It just annoys the people who want to race when I don't play back!

Whenever I see idiots driving around in their matchboxes, I ask "Where are the police when you need them?!" It seems like VA state and county police are everywhere except where the idiot drivers are.

Maybe you should rename the thread MDX vs. Sethro! Agree with all, I see all kinds of idiots trying to race you because you have a BMW. Imagine my problem when instead of driving our X5, I drive the M3...for some reason the M3 attracts more of those "speed racers" than the X5...can't seem figure that out
