It won't bring her back but they certainly help to over come the grief and realise what a great experience it is to have a dog as part of your family.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive, well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - beer in hand, body thoroughly used up, screaming WOO HOO, what a ride!

I also know how you feel!I had a Cocker Spaniel and he lead a wonderfull life until he was 15 years old when this breed inherits the common problems of loss of sight and stomach cancer!I eventually had to put him down to stop her further suffering.
My sincere condolencies to you,Juan.

Damn Juan, that sucks. I can't imagine losing my little girl, so I feel your pain. Dogs are the best. Stick in there Buddy, maybe get another lab the same color to help ease the pain?

Hey Juan - I feel for ya. I love animals and I'm always heart-broken during times like this. But you certainly did what you had to do. Sorry for your loss...

Sorry to hear that Juan, I've gone through that three times now and it never gets easier. If you do decide to get another I know you'll love it equally as much, just give it some time.
