C'mon mate,
Surely your life isn't that bad that you can't enjoy yourself especially as MD says 'at your age and in college etc'. As Meiac09 mentioned do some stupid stuff, (not too illegal) make sure you get away with it, and live on remembering those types of moments. I do, as I fondly remember getting into a bit of strife with police in Portugal, Austria etc whilst backpacking around Europe.

Plus Thunder is right on the money about chasing some skirt.

You only get one lap to cover as much as you can. Don't put yourself in a position where you might think back and say 'what if'.

Now go out there and enjoy yourself.

Matt - playing Wii is a great idea. I'm sure there are tons of people on campus who you know with one in their dorm room or apartment.

I have to a agree with everyone. Dude, your in college...the "what if" factor will come around. Go chase some women and have a great time. Don't act all grown up all the time. Go meet other people not just people you know...expand your circle. If there is a party and all your friends do not want to go? F^&*( them and go! And talk to everyone. Believe it or not, one of the biggest asset you will ever learn in college is to be able to talk to someone. It's not the education (yeah that's almost important) but, social interaction is the biggest. Go freakin' enjoy yourself or your going to turn out to be a non-social, mr know-it-all, and a wall flower for the rest of your life. Just my 0.02cents

Man, when I think college, I remember good friends, drinking in the afternoons, going to football games on the weekends, going out to bars Thursday through Sunday morning, playing video games until my eyeballs popped out of my head, going to the apartment swimming pool to see the ladies, weekend road trips to the beech/lake, strip clubs...fu#k, it was awesome.

There is so much for you to do right now and you NEED to take advantage of it. It seems like you are a pretty serious person and a focused student. My advice would be to let loose and make a few bad decisions. Not too bad, but fun bad. One day you will look back and see all the things you missed out on. Also, you say you have few meaningful friendships, but you seem like a good guy to me. I bet if you opened yourself up to the whole experience, you would gain more very quickly. Give people a chance and make the most of your time there. This is your life afterall, don't waste the present wishing you were in another phase of it.
