Fantastic High Res Photos

[JCL]

I was sent this link to the LA Times web site of high resolution photos of action shots at the Olympics. There are some amazing ski jumping, skating, and bobsled photos. Worth taking a look at.

Some amazing work by the two photographers under some challenging conditions. The full size images must be even more impressive.

Nice stuff.
I guess that Canada is still brimming with pride over the Winter Olympics. Must be one of the great sporting turn-a-rounds of all time. Well done. Canada's performance was well received here in Oz on the grounds that we will always support a fellow Commonwealth country against the Europeans or the USA. Alternately, there's always the rule that you support your team/country or anyone who is playing the USA. I guess it's the underdog thing. Anyway, here in Australia we forward to meeting Canada in next Summer Olympics.

Those are some incredible photos! Not only are they brilliant in terms of photography but to seemingly be at the perfect place at the perfect time, at the big events with the big players, is almost as incredible.

Here is the behind-the-scenes of these photographers. Very interesting!

Amazing photos.

Amazing what you can do with thousands of dollars of digital photography equipment, eh? :-)
