Yeah, that has to be the Isle of Man TT...from eroding memory, the course is just under 38 miles and lap record is on a worked R1 at less than 18 mins or something insane. That "course" is a couple of hundred turns with brief stretches of who has the biggestballz in the short straights while braking ferociously for the next chassis shaking, trail braking turn. I'd love to get there someday for race week.

This is indeed Isle of man TT races and it is a shoot from 2003 when the first 125 mph averagespeed lap was set by ??? mind gone blank. He did it on a works GSX1000R...
tragically he killed himself 2004 trying to beat his own laptime....

A friend of mine went to see it once... I think it was '03 too. Those guys are truly special - the fastest ones set up their lines so that they scrape their helmets on the sides of the buildings on the tight turns through town.
