Yes, only recently Sony's scores for notebook computers has been great. In fact, Sony's are rated much higher than Dell. Dell has been taking a beating. Hopefully my Sony will fair well, but again, it is for occasional travel use. I still have my powerhouse Dell laptop and Dell desktop and of course my work's PC.

Thanks for the heads up....I did get the extra 3 year warranty nevertheless.
