Amazing technology. If you really think about it- from pressing a button on your garmin or iPhone, to the underlying physics & math, it is really a feat to behold. Satellites, launch vehicles, orbiting atomic clocks, the math of allowing any arbitrary receiver the ability to self-synchronize. Almost perfect.
OT, but I ran across plans for a "GPS Jammer" a few years ago. Think about it. |
