This is a bunch of b.s. from Bernie. When are they going to run it? They would have to run it either very early in the season or very late, like October. Late June/July/August in Southern Texas? It will be 200*F, the tires will melt to the asphalt. I guess they could try to slot it in between Montreal and Valencia in late June, other than that slot, the schedule is in Europe and South America without any gaps and finishing in Bahrain.
Regardless, here's more "info" from the promoter: 3 mile course within 10 miles from Airport built with private funds, no public funds.
