Impulsive buying binge - Designer Glasses shopping Spree

So what's your breaking point on buying eyeglass frames....
Sorta feeling a little buyers remorse.

Left a boutique shop this afternoon with 4 frames. Ran around 6-7X the cost of a single 315/35/20 RFT tire for comparative purposes. Such a rip but damm I look good...

Sounds like I would be feeling remorse if I were you too. I refuse to pay more than $200 for a pair up to this point in my life. No offense, but I don't want to be "that guy" sporting $300, $400, $600+ designer shades. I just got some new RayBans. They run about $170 in most stores, but only paid $59 through a family member working at an optometrist office. That was their cost price. Imagine the markup on the designer ones you probably bought. Sounds like you are happy with the way you look, so maybe it was worth it after all.

This is as designer as I get;

I could use that hook up.

I just got these, after running over a week old pair of Wayfarers that looked way too douchey. If I'm gonna pay SGH markup, I'll take advantage of their "screw them up, bring them back" policy. That said, I bought them when I was having a sh!tty day, so its a bit of retail therapy that didn't end up too badly since I could actually afford them...

I have these polarized ones and can't see the head-up display with them.

not quite sure if FSA covered non prescp purchases....
Was not even on my radar. Was just one of those impulsive things.

Got 1 pair of Dita, 2 pairs of C&G, and a pair made by Karlsgarrd. Don't know schitz about frames and what's would be a eye connoisseurs upper limit...but hell, it's just the same like clothes I guess....

What my parents did was use the FSA on my sunglasses and got the store to write a fake prescription to put on the account. Walked out with a set of Ray Ban Aviators without spending a cent, but keep that on the down low.
