FRICKEDY FRICK FRICK!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I already fixed the trailer with extra bracing and replaced the wood stake body with welded steel, at least mostly as I quit when the sun went down... can maybe finish tomorrow after I get back from the Tickfaw house again. Sorry for the rant, just venting a bit and I'm upset about the damage on the X5. Did anyone figure out a way to clone themselves like in the movie Multiplicity yet, because I could use a few!

If you are like me, your bad "luck" comes in bunches. Then when it is over you are good for at lot of good months to follow. Hopefully, you have gotten the worst for a while.

Sad to say, "been there". Nut'n to do but take a deep breath, let it out slowly, and start puttin' things right, one by one. Too often, trying to do too much, results in things forgotten, and short temper. I've found taking a break between jobs helps reduce the tension built up from the previous job. Go in and fool around with the kids (or wife). Sit down with something to drink and talk about the next job with someone. It will help refocus your thoughts, and might bring new ideas or perspective. Simply, reward yourself for what you've done, before you tackle the next.
Life's too short. Ya gotta enjoy the ride.

Weasel,
I have tried the cloning thing and so far no luck. In the past two weeks I have only spent 10 hours at home. The rest of the time I've been working and traveling. Where much is given, much is expected. That's bummer to hear about the tail gate. Get her fixed and keep going. You will be buried with projects for the new house for a year or so, then it should be slowing down.

Well, had a good nights sleep. About to load the heap of wood into a nice enclosed trailer so I can take time during the next week to finish fixing my little POS trailer that is soon to become a yard cart anyways... And figured I'll be able to fix the truck easier than thought anyways in the near future. I'm pulling all the funds from and killing my 401k very soon, using a couple grand of it to fix the E36 and E53 in one shot and throwing the rest in a ROTH IRA in place of the 401k. (minus a few extra hundred for the m'cycle I'm buying from a friend, nothing better on gas mileage than an old twin cyl putter)
I wish I had time to rest between stuff, but got waaay too much going on to put anything off right now. But up to this point things were all falling together so perfectly, and I mean everything. But I guess this was life digging her heeld in the ground and saying it's my time to work for it all. OFF TO WORK FOR ME!
