Not The Blizzard, But Frost On The Pumpkin...

here in SW FLA, as in Zone 10, as in Latitude 26. Other than Key West, due south of us, one can't get any further 'south' in the 48 states.

I've seen frost in previous seasons, on car roofs in the shade, but have never seen the entire ground covered in frost, this far south. It was ~34 degs here this am; 60 degs in the house.
I refuse to turn the heat on.

The golf course was covered; some pics from my morning walk.
When is 'Spring'?!

m/D....are F$%&ing kiddin me.... WHAAA WHAAAA...... stop complaining about frost on the GOLF COURSE in DECEMBER!

Try dealing with 20"+ snow and the inabilities of Queens and Nassau counties from removing snow beyond 1 lane on highways and streets...

..and why would that Nissan Altima try to tackle that mound of snow....and why would that VW bug think it can get over that small snow squall....and why...oops, wrong forum.

Carry on.. (oh, suck it up and turn on the heat.....by the way, need a house sitter in WV???? )

HA! i wish it was that warm around here..

mD i do understand your frustration, you go to florida to escape that type of weather, I would be upset if there was frost too..

Either way, get the golf clubs out, and go shoot up that frosty green!

It's ridiculous up here, mD! 29 inches by me, no plows on the side streets yet. The X6 did well getting through it though. The ramp to the bridge was still snow covered this morning. 287/440 was down to one lane cleared and the morons with 4WD don't understand that just because you can go, doesn't mean you can stop.

Wasn't questioning your counting skills....just the fact that you are already counting!

Have a great New Years!

L, You aren't the only one wondering where the plows are hiding:
Lil'Mikey says all is normal...
Christmas Blizzard of 2010: City much too slow to plow, critics say

I would help you shovel, if I was there.

I'm with you on Daylight Savings Time.

I hate new jersey. North Carolina did a better job clearing the roads. I sat on Morris Ave for two frigging hours trying to get a mile because the two lanes became one, and people from Jersey can't play nice.

I have never had so much road rage in my life. I can't wait to be back in Maine where they can actually clear snow for a couple weeks before battling it again to get back to school
