Interesting strategy.. as an iPhone user i will not look into getting an android, but i guess if marketed well enough, AT&T can persuade new smartphone users to buy an android

I think they have to because of the loss of iPhone exclusivity and the fact that Android handsets have been coming on strong, they'd be foolish to ignore that platform.
