Car Show Pics...Naples, FL

The annual Naples Car Show was held a weekish ago; it's put on by the area Ferrari Club, but it is a very diverse show: everything from ol'MotorCity Muscle, to obscure antiques, to all kinds of cool cars of every brand and species. Surprisingly, there were very few BMWs in the mix, though they are ubiquitous in this area, as in Chebbies in El Paso.

TheCEO and I got there late, (about an hourish after the show opened), and froufrou Fifth Ave in downtown Naples was packed. Thus, the wide angle close-in pics. For car enthusiasts, this is a pretty damn good show here in the middle of February. Thanks for looking!

Thanks for sharing - I'm blown away by some of those cars, especially the 1957 Testarossa 500 TRC and the Auburn. What a collection of F cars to see as well.

Nice shots MD! I like car shows like this, a wide-ranging collection of 'neat stuff'.

Some random thoughts:
  • Very clean '57 Chev
  • That's no Auburn! Hood catches and steering wheel give it away
  • Thanks for the shot of the Moggie. Federalized, with that modified front bumper. Needs Lucas Flamethrowers up front.
  • A 409! There may not be many that remember the song, 'She's real fine, my 409!' Don't like the wheels much though.
  • GT 40? Isn't it a GT?
  • Love the BMW 3.0
  • Great early Corvette
Thanks for sharing!

Hellsbells, JCL...I was walking around shooting, jostling my way through the 'old people', and then trying to recall what the hell I 'saw' through the view finder, a week later!
This wasn't a research assignment, and just wait until you are my age.

Thanks for all the looks and kind words; I know there is a lot of dough here in SW FLA, but seeing these cars reminds me of how much. I really lust after F Cars, I have come to realize.

Nice collection there! It looks like another day in the life of the ol' retired bum was well spent.

That '57 Chevy is one of my favorites there. I can't say why because I am a modern car guy but it's cool. Those 7ers are HIDEOUS and further proof that money doesn't buy taste. Whenever I see an AC I assume it's a rep unless it's in Jay Leno's garage or a museum.

JCL: You never cease to amaze!
