Cool vid and very happy stockholder here: bought a truckload at ~ $3.00 back in summer 2002. Have sold some along the way, but a very solid addition to the ol' retired bum portfolio. YMMV...
Good dig out, LM!

If one can think of it, one can do it. Imagine being being born before television and being alive when this comes to pass. Pretty exciting in my view.

Very good observation/point QwkAg...hope we both make it that far, as we both remember pre-TV days.

After reading "Isaac Asimov" early in my youth and a few other preceptive visions of the future, much of technology has not been a surprise to me. What will they think of next in many cases has already been thought of before their actual invention. Credit cards, hand held communicators, iPad Like devices used for various tasks were all seen in the 70s'. Of course they didn't work but somebody was thinking "hey this is possible" and so it is today.

Watching technology progress is fun but I hope for a "now" that will find people using technology to solve major issues of the day for the betterment of us all.

Very cool indeed but all I can think of was how filthy (pun not intended) rich the glass cleaner and microfiber cloth manufacturers are going to be. If you can imagine a world full of glass then you can imagine a whole mess of fingerprints! All I could think of was the greasy fingerprints and streaks across the touch sensitive glass. This is coming from an iPad user.

By the time this gets here no doubt they will have invented a glass surface
that will not collect greasy fingerprints.

And, I'll be worm food by then...or, maybe back for a 2nd trip, filthy rich instead of good looking ; I would have a maid to take of those pesky finger prints, etc., that next time.
