I am calling you out on this. You're an NCO, you've at least been to PLDC, if not BNCOC and ANCOC, you know better than to respresent like that! You were trying to say that most of the soldiers on the FRONT LINES are hispanic, and that's an ignorant thing to say, because, although you and I know better, someone could read that and think that the Army is sending hispanic soldiers to the front lines to take bullets and shrapnel as if they're more expendable than anyone else. I don't think you meant to further a misconception about who gets sent to the front lines, Sarge, but that could easily be taken the wrong way by a casual reader with no military knowledge or experience.

Let me refrased that but anyone who joined the army sonner or later is going to combat zone but he was writing about Puerto Rico federal aid and about Cuba i was trying to explain Puerto Rico get federal aid but we go to war like any american its just like any state (but it aint)before he put any hispanic culture down he has to remember many of us fight for this country and we are proud of it ................IM PROUD TO BE A US ARMY COMBAT VETERAN......

yes, and i too am hispanic.

and yes, i take care of Combat Veterans here at the VAMC of Des Moines/Central Iowa, providing them state of the art surgical care.

ps the ARMY dont send soldier to war by race is according which type of unit they need ....BLACK,WHITE, YELLOW IT DOESNT MATTER
