April Fool's Day snow...

A day late. Snowing and Really blowing up on the mtn.
The weatherguessers say we are supposed to get 6" .

Not a huge deal, but I was really ready for serious spring.
I played golf twice this past week in shorts.

Some pics: not the usual fine view today and they look like I took them w/an old EK Brownie.

Natch, I washed and zaino'd the X Thursday...but, snow tars/wheels are still on and didn't get switched yet.

We've gotten a ton of rain over the past 24 hours, and had the temps been a few degrees cooler we would have been buried in snow.

Back to the mid-60's next week, though. Spring is on its way

MD, I hear you are going to get more bad weather tonight. It is turning very cold and VERY windy in Charlotte. Tried to test drive some cars today and was blown all over the road. The weather station here says your area is getting a blast of cold and snow tonight. Where the hell is summer

ncx: yeah, it's ugly here, but the 3-4" of rain on Thurs through Fri night was jes'that: rain. If it had all been snow, it would be up to our hips. Shades of April '03 up here when we had 18" on April 15th.
I thought I moved south.
