Acer Aspire 3951
Aspire 3951 has a thickness of only 13 mm and weighs less than 1.4 kg, roughly equivalent in size MacBook Air 13 inch model. Sound system Dolby Home Theater v4 latest. Power key at the right part of the hinge. Acer will introduce laptops ultrabook series around here in October. Aspire 3951 has 13.3 inch screen size, aluminum shell and weighs less than 1.4 kg. It also equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 standard has not been formally introduced. Aspire 3951 also features a performance from sleep mode (open lid) after only 1.7 seconds, 30 days standby time and continuous operation of more than 6 hours. Configuration of the machine is quite good with Intel Core i second generation, hard drive storage options 160 GB SSD or traditional hard drive capacity 250, 500 GB. Most of the ports of the machine is moved to the edge as HDMI, USB or power jack. Acer is not yet published any information on this model but according to sources of The Chemistry and selling prices in Vietnam are very attractive in the range from 16 to 20 million depending on configuration.

Removing my post because, based on the post immediately after this, it looks like this is going to be another inane Apple vs. Wintel and OSX vs. Windows 7 thread.

I am surprised that there are thoughts that Apple may be able to patent the concept of a thin laptop as something unique.
My Thinkpad X series is light enough for now, but I can see my next Intel laptop being something thinner than I my current one.

I welcome the introduction of ever more thinner and lighter laptops. I freely acknowledge that Apple has been in the forefront of design and innovation, and the competition is a good thing for everyone.
