Unlocking Motorola Phone

This is kind of out of subject but does anyone know how to unlock a Motorola V3 Razor phone from T-mobile? There is a local shop that does it but they want like $100. From what I hear, there is no software update but only a few codes to unlock the phone. Does anyone know or want to help me do this?

There is a ton of info on unlocking phones on the web for a lot less then $100.00. I did a search for 5 minutes and found this:

Thanks for the web site. I have tried numerous sites and saw this but I only need the Subsidy Code or Subsidy Password (unlock code). I'm pretty positive I need the susidy code and not the password. I know this forum has a ton of tech wiz's and someone has to know the Code.

I do know about the codes and stuff; but they have a unlocking device. It takes under 10 minutes to unlock; but once its unlocked you can use it with any GSM carrier...

btw just a quick question does the new X5 come with the motorolla Razor? cause my 2002 has the old motorolla and was wondering wat i would need to change the handsfree set in the car to get the V3

Most people are retrofitting Bluetooth in their vehicles nowadays. One of your options could be if you already had a Razr is to contact BMW with the IMIE number on the Razr and have them link that to your car... But retrofitting Bluetooth is a lot better. Because it's rather pointless to have a phone linked to your car.

cause my handsfree thingy is under the arm rest, but it will only hold the old small motorolla, is there like a holder for the new razor or its just connected by bluetooth?

No snap in adapter for the Razr as of yet.
