JV is on a distinguished road
big ass TVs need big azz remotes...

I have all Sony at the crib(TV, Receiver, DirecTV Receiver&TiVo combo, VCR)-even all 3 'puters are Sony. I like it, there's a good name on those products and I've always had great customer service from Sony. It also doesn't make me feel guilty when I buy it, cause it's not SUPER expensive, IMHO, more like plain old expensive, and that I can manage.

All the recent banter about the LCD/Plasma thing got me itching to get "One Remote To Rule Them All" instead of cycling back and forth between the TiVo and DVD remote, so I picked this up off the net for $119:

It's the Sony RMAX 4000. Nice little piece of metal and plastic. It's got the blue backlit touch screen LCD and it's PC programmable with software and USB included.

UPS brought it today, and I haven't had much time to fool with it, but I did get it programmed for my Lutron dimmer switches, which is nice

Any of youse guys workin' with anything like this on your home setups? Anyone got any pros or cons on use or setup?

JV
