Guess you would have had to have been around to have seen some of these items. But what do you think. Do you agree with this list??

I'd have to put Super Nintendo and 64 on there.
Oh, and Genesis for introducing Sonic!

No techie here, so I won't be critical of their rankings...
Stuff I saw come into fruition and have used:
-Sony,NoBaloney Walkman (still have mine)
-TiVO type stuff: our 4 1/2 yr old DISH Sat PVR, an amazing invention,imo.
-Sony CD player; got my first in '85. It was amazing, though some of the earlier CDs were very "shrill" and "thin" to my ears.
-Polaroid Land Camera; my ol'Man had one of the first, a B&W deal in the early '60s. You had to peel it apart and apply a coating to the lil'print and let it dry; "developing" time took about 45 secs.
-My first carry around transitor radio, a Sony, circa 1961 ish. Amazing to me, at the time.
-TI handheld calculartors...BizStat classes, et al, were never the same, lol!
-EK Instamatic: I agree, though I loved my first Hawkeye the best.
-GameBoy: I have my orig. and a couple of more recent versions.
-Laser Disc Player: I got mine in '83. Still have it...still runs well. My LD collection is for dinosaurs, however, lol!
-Lear 8Track! Hell, yes: got mine in late '65. It was Titz, in those days, lol!

Surprised they left out:
-portable phone, of any brand...to be "cordless", way back, was cool. Crummy fidelity and a range of about 20 feet on a good day.
-Apple 512K: skip MS DOS and the clunky orig "desk tops". Apples were required in the groovy offices of the mid-80s.
-first readily avail. car phones, circa 1982: $2-2500 in NJ/NY at the time; $50/month hanging on your dash, before you made a call. Had to have one, lol!
