I hope everyone had a great Christmas. My new wife and I had our first family dinner at our house. Her parents and some of her family came over. It was very nice. She and I agreed that we would not be buying presents this year given the recent expenses of a wedding and honeymoon. Luckily for me she abided by the terms of our agreement and she did not spring a present on me. I would have looked like a complete heel.

My best friend came over for dinner as well. He's been touring with Bon Jovi and has visited many arenas on the East Coast. He has been collecting hockey jerseys for me. I guess he trades Bon Jovi stuff for hockey jerseys. He's not a hockey fan but he knows I am. He's trying to get me a jersey from every team but sometimes they don't play at the hockey arena so like in Detroit, they didn't play at The Joe so no hockey jerseys.

Here are the ones he's gotten me so far. New Jersey is getting shipped out later and there are plenty more cities to go. I love the Crosby jersey. The Thornton jersey is funny since he's no longer a Bruin. (Bad trade!) My favorite is still my Naslund pro jersey that I bought for a ridiculous amount of money and maybe even my autographed Pavel Bure rookie jersey. (Where is he now? Retired and coaching in Russia.)
