F-18 down... and not far away.

Around my neck of the woods you get to see cool stuff like this a LOT, in fact, the noise gets annoying after a while. Sadly the loud noise today was one of them crashing over land. I'm standing here at the back of the office now watching the smoke rise. So sad.

Any thoughts or prayers for the F-18 pilots and those in the crash radius couldn't hurt, if you're into that sort of thing.

I read that the pilots ejected. I hope there are no serious casualties on the ground. It reminds me of the Marine Corp aircraft that crashed in a San Diego neighborhood killed a man's entire family. So sad.

Six people in hospital. They drained jet fuel all over before the crash. That explains jet fuel stench in the area.
