Air Pressure Gauge Advice
Guys, what digital gauges are you using? I bought regular mechanical one with the stick that pops out at Autozone and pressure reading end just came off after month. I'll looking for something sturdy that gives accurate reads. TIA.

Bought an analog clock version from Pep Boys for $30 that seems reasonably accurate and it has a long brass stem to push onto the valve.

I bought the same kind. Not from pep boys though.

ummm.. no to all those...

get a racing liquid filled one. it runs about 70-80 bucks but well worth it. EXTREMELY accurate and has a slow bleed valve on it so you can watch and measure the pressure as you release it to where you want it.

longacre, intercomp, etc.... all good stuff and will last you a lifetime versus the cheaper then 50 dollar models that break in under 3 years or lose its accuracy...

PS: not all tire pressure gauges measure the same.... each gauge will measure different unless you have them calibrated to each other... if you measure at home and then at the gas station, you will get different readings. stick to one guage only...

just so you know...

that'll work fine... i've seen some quickcar parts at the track and they work as they say they do

intercomp digital... got 2 that are calibrated to each other and downloads into my race car management software for me to track things...
