Hang on; East Bay Mud is about to raise water rates because of the drought.

I was driving around yesterday and earlier this morning and there were plenty of downed trees in the city. Today is still a little windy and overcast, but yeah, it was a pretty hefty storm.

The winds are picking back up again...supposed to be another big one coming in a couple hours.. I feel sorry for the people over in the North Bay.. Napa and Marin/Mill Valley are already under 4-5 feet of water.. and the news said the American River area got over 10 inches yesterday in a 24hr period!!

I was in SoCal and missed the whole storm. Not bad down there except for some rain yesterday, New Year's Eve. I have some friends stuck in Tahoe though, and cannot get back because of the mud slide on Highway 80.
