i can see this happening in the closed off lincoln tunnel... but as he drove in city streets (no potholes!!! in NYC!!!), i did not notice that the streets were closed off, even though they were suspiciously abandoned with exception of a few guys on the benches and the side street... unless they had a huge crew...

I was in NYC once during the UNGA 61 for my work (when Hugo Chavez claimed that he smelled sulfur at the podium after Bush Jr. made a speech there a moment earlier), and the 6th ave was closed off to public for the filming of I,Legend with Will Smith... of course, me being stupid myself, I wandered on the filming strip and walked on the 6th ave wondering what happened to the traffic and why there were bunch of f^cked up cars parked everywhich way on the street... i was gonna get myself breakfast when some crazy chick started running towards me and yelling and screaming something, but c'mon - this is new york, you don't listen to crazy chicks yelling at you, you carry on... well, turns out, it was a scene when Will was doing some crazy stuff in his mustang, and my fat ass was getting into the shot... lol...

so, the Red Bull people may have had a gazzillion helpers holding off the streets, keeping stupid guys like myself from getting ran over by a formula one... can you imagine explaining this to your insurance agent??? lol...

AMAZING!

The camera work was pretty amazing too, especially in the tunnel.
