I'm Baaack

I'm finally replacing my underdriven and always appreciated 04 4.4i sport (85k miles) with an E70, so it's time to show my face. Exact bells, whistles and rims of the new ride still tbd. And yes, this post is useless without pics. Patience. Unfortunately, I am in Connecticut, and my new ride is still in New Jersey.

Hopefully, Thursday or Friday.

Not going to part out the E53. Don't have enough time. There is of course the StealthOne that is burried deep in the bowels of the front dash, but since it doesn't work with the E70, I'm leaving it there. Along with the other stuff I installed myself, like the m-sport steering wheel, spinners, running boards, Sirius, BT, cd changer, aux input, V1 hardwire, and extra rims w/snows. I'm going to write a note to the lucky next owner, explaining some of the love the car enjoyed in my 9 1/2 years of ownership. Hopefully the dealer doesn't trash the note after they take the keys.

Thanks to the crew here for allowing me to lurk, and eventually helping me to decide on an E70 (it beat out a 2014 MDX and 2013 Q7 S-Line), and thanks in advance for the help in modding the new ride. I have questions, a bunch of which have already been answered, and I look forward to all of the help in the future, as well as the 'use the search function' responses.

Oh, and if someone can call the local Dinan guy, and tell him to expect me...

Welcome back and hope you enjoy the new ride. I went and looked at some X5's
today but i'm still waffling on the 70K+ for a fully equipped X5-Diesel. Who knows
the CEO may give me a push but i'm not counting on it.
