Anyone know the package code/part numbers involved?! I'm thinking of retrofitting.

I guess changing the 3 to a 5 wasn't enough, had to add the M as well.

It's bad but it could be worse. The badges could be on a non-BMW vehicle. I've seen the BMW roundel on a neon - hood and trunk.

And sadly too many people fall for it. ive had friends(girl) mistake a huyndai for a ferrari, just because it had lambo doors a big nike swoosh and ferrari badges, and they wanted to keep arguing..

how about kit cars? there were times when people would take a chrysler convertible and put on a MB body from an SL500, to make it really look like a Benz... of course, more expensive proposition than just slapping a $10 worth of badges... but still, it is just a surrogate...

how about making something else out of a bimmer?? this portable pool was pulled over in Germany... cops were surprised to see this thing... lol...

When I first got the ///M I was getting on the bridge one morning and what do I see? An X3 with an ///M badge. I laughed and past her.

I have to check it out in person when I'm there visiting family. Any contact info from the special owner?
I would get a sticky note and write "NOT" in big font using a sharpie. Stick it there and take a picture. Then post it all over the internet.
