Abbott is sounding more and more like an opportunistic politician. I hope Texas gets a better governor after the next election.

J & J vaccine is going to become available very soon. With nearly the same efficacy rates as the other 2, 2021 is going to become Our come back year.

Agree. Abbott is a dud. But no more than any other out there so I guess he's playing the game to try and keep his gig. I think more Texas voters will remember not having power and clean water than he realizes come his reelection attempt though.

I cancelled our vaccine appts as they are still doing 1a & 1b only. Not sure how my SiL got us appts without lying on the registration form. Vaccines should be available widely in the next couple of months...

Did not know that Happy. But still, I'll bathe in it if it means the family is kept safe.

I had to cancel our appts for the pfizer vaccine last week as they were attained by my SiL through less than scrupulous methods. Found out when I called the inoculation site. We can wait our turn. Another month and general availability should be a thing.

Yeah, from what I read Pfizer is good. But, who really knows. There is very little known at the moment.

There have been issues with the others and side affects, but I haven’t seen or heard too much with the Pfizer vaccine.

J&J, first the cancer issues with the baby powder, now cloned aborted fetal cells! What’s next?

I just found out about it too. I was shocked. My mother passed away from melanoma. The cancer was found in a private place. She definitely wasn’t getting sun there. She used the powder throughout her entire life. This was before the whole thing blew up on them.

Heard on the NPR podcast today. Around 40% of the population still hasn't had the covid vaccine yet. And majority of them when polled show no interest in getting it.

Most of the news outlets are now calling this the pandemic for the unvaccinated.

In everything, timing is critical. Hesitancy and reluctance is only going to fuel the development and spread of this virus.

Waiting on it to blow over?
