Embarrasing

Cannot think of a better word to describe it.

I think half of the members of this forum could have done better.

The problem isn't that she is a bad speaker. The problem is that she had no idea what she was talking about. It's not even funny. I felt bad for her while watching it.

I didn't feel bad at all. Let's face it she seems intelligent enough to know she's not qualified for the job. If you know that why embarass yourself. Say no thank you and resume your Job in Alaska.

She is certainly not a polished politician. Then look where the politicians have led us in recent years. Obama/Biden and McCain are politicians. How much worse could it be?

As I've said before, the problem is not the individuals but the system. If you were to get rid of everyone in Washington and replace them with a 100% entirely new government, it would only be a matter of time before things were back to exactly the same ways. It would probably take a few years, but it would happen.

Major changes need to be made to our electoral system and to the way that politics operate in Washington.

Hey, she probably did better than Bush. That would be something that would cheer the Republicans up wouldn't it? A VP candidate that speaks better and is as knowledgable than the current President?
