I wasn't directing a shot at you...just tired of the drivel that has
permeated the net, about all the candidates. No Obama fan, no
candidate fan, here.

As "bright and intelligent" as we all like to think of ourselves and
our fellow "Americans", I find that most get their "news & info" from
~18 mins an evening via some "news" program, and spend a lot of time
jabbering at the "water cooler" about stuff they really have little
background info on...

I still see Letters to the Editor in our local rag that talk about
Obama's "ungodliness" or McCain's "faked captivity" in Viet Nam...
NEway, back to being a village idiot, I am.

I'm not sure most of those are true in a pure sense but I suspect some of those points carry some truth.

One thing that IS true that can't be argued is Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam loves Obama and wants Obama to win. Farrakhan goes as far as to call Obama the “Messiah”. I'm not very comfortable voting for ANYONE Louis Farrakhan likes. Especially someone who has very close ties to people like Rev. Wright, Ayres Louis Farrakhan himself and many others. That point can't be argued.
