I say 100% Public Financing for each political party candidate from five major parties. Democratic, Republican, Independent, Green and Libertarian. If someone wants to start another party they will need 1 million (the number can be debated) signatures from registered voters.

Everyone starts out with the same amount of money and every candidate participates in the debates run by the American People. That way NO campaign would waste money on trivial items, expensive clothing, haircuts or frivolous ads.

This would SHAKE up the entire political process and our Representatives would have to work for the people because someone would be ready to take their place in the next election if they fail.
