It is pretty worrisome thing when the word 'community' is somehow a bad thing. Is having a sense of community somehow a uniquely Democrat thing or conversely a Republican thing?
In a similar vein, cooperative is hardly a scary word. Cooperation - god forbid that that be a force in society.

Sounds to me like expectations are running high for an inevitability that may never materialize.
Having said that perhaps a lot of people should make a effort to practice the meaning of these words and a few other well chosen descriptive terms in their daily lives. Maybe just maybe it might not be such a selfish me first world.  Quote:
