Let's recap NY politics over the last few years

1) Hillary carpetbags her way into a NY senate seat, despite the fact that she's completely unqualified as she has never held a public office.
2) After stating emphatically that she's 'all about ny', she does nothing for the state of ny in her entire term.
3) spends majority of her time campaigning for President, all the while, ignoring the state of NY.
4) After ending her campaign, once again states that she's concentrating on NY, and then accepts position as Sec'y of State. Another position that she is woefully unqualified for, and once again turning her back on the state of NY.
5) Spitzer (nuff said)
6) lt. governor paterson takes over as governor, a job that he's not qualified to perform.
7) newly minted governor is now tasked with APPOINTING a new NY senator, and who is up for it? Another UNQUALIFIED Democrat, Caroline Kennedy, and who has never held public office.

It's a sad state of affairs for NY politics when 2 of the most powerful political positions in the state are held by or will be held by unqualified wanna-bes.
