Brig. General or Senator, who works harder for the title.

I already hated Barbra Boxer, but this just confirmed it for me.

The feisty California lawmaker felt the need to remind an Army brigadier general of that fact Tuesday during a hearing before her Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, where the military officer testifying had the apparent gall to call Boxer "ma'am."

Brig. Gen. Michael Walsh, with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, was testifying on the Louisiana coastal restoration process in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. He began to answer one of Boxer's questions with "ma'am" when Boxer immediately cut him off.

"You know, do me a favor," an irritated Boxer said. "Could say 'senator' instead of 'ma'am?'"

"Yes, ma'am," Walsh interjected.

"It's just a thing, I worked so hard to get that title, so I'd appreciate it, yes, thank you," she said.

"Yes, senator," he responded.

While the better response would be for him to ensure that SHE included HIS title, as I bet worked harder and longer than she did for that Star on his shoulder, he obviously knows that he is in the employ of her government and kept it at that.
Feinstein, Boxer and Pelosi -and lets not leave Waxman out of this - are all batsh!t. Something about that state that really turns out some mental winners. Especially Pelosi lately with the CIA is lying to me BS. I wish taht woudl have turned into more, but you know in reality somebody visited her late at night, and gave her a "special" message about why it might be a good idea not to mess with the CIA, and now the problem is all gone.

I had thought we lived in a republic, but it sure looks like Obama and the Dems are acting like they are royalty..., and that just turns my stomach. Just another reason for term limits.

In answer to the title: the Senator works much harder for the title. He/She has to LIE LIKE A DOG just to get elected. Then he/she has to LIE more and more so he/she could keep that title. Now that's hard work!!!
