They run major university and all your union teachers (I know there are MANY great ones out there so don't bother defending them).

Nobel Piece Prize is a more "progressive" award than "communist"....Theodore Roosevelt received the NPP, and he was far from Communist but very much a Progressive.

Communism has to do with social structure and classes, Socialism deals with economics, Progressivism combines the two.

Good call, well said. Social programs started big time under TR. We have not looked bad since.

Actually I share that as well...visited US many times before I finally moved here. Born and raised in Romania. And most of my family left exactly for that reason...communism...more like because of Ceausescu and pals.

yes most people who didn't want to be part of the communist party were harassed constantly by the police.

Now were fighting for the lands which they took from us

I must admit, I don't know about that person. I am going to look him up. I love to learn about History! Any tips on where to search, I don't want to fall victim to some crooked interpretation of the true History.

not sure on particular websites...but looking at '89 Romanian Revolution and before, and Ceausescu's profile along with his wife Elena should give plenty of insights on what happened.
