Is this a result of Trump's refusal to acknowledge defeat on Jan 6th?
I think when you cry wolf and get away with it, you usher in an era of cry wolves and the established system gets torn down quicker than you think.
It takes hundreds of years to establish the kind of trust and good will people have in our election system. But one lying candidate who refuses to concede may very well ruin it.
