My family's life was not better under Trump, or Biden. But if those two are put on the ticket again... Trump is getting my vote as the Democrats will be considered irredeemable in my opinion.

EOD, your list of Trump's accomplishments, while few had any affect on our personal situation (living in a South Texas "sanctuary" city) I would certainly consider more beneficial than Biden. Or maybe less damaging is a better way to put it. Thank you for posting it. The Democrats have been watching too many Disney movies and drinking too much Bud Light apparently. Can't get anything worthwhile done.

But, the Republican party is the other side of the same coin and both want the status quo to continue to further their own wealth and the wealth of their donors.

BTW, both Hunter and Trump should have been in jail long before either was anywhere near the White House. There is plenty of evidence against both and if there is any justice left in this country, both will end up behind bars.

Edit: Clarification. One Biden "accomplishment" that MIGHT benefit us is extending the energy tax credit. But, being that it's only a credit, it will only offset owed taxes. We are lower-middle class and don't make enough to have a tax liability at the end of the year (always "overpay" in paycheck) with deductions for the kids, etc. So this policy, while nice, does not help those who make less but still stretch their necks out to take the burden off our stretched thin grid. And we didn't do it to be "green" either... rather to save green. I had to do everything myself (did hire an electrician to check my work) because we were quoted a ridiculous $90k for our system. GTFOH. Anyway, I'm rambling, my point is, like most policy... it is designed to help the wealthy keep more of their money. Even CPS and SAWS credits work the same way. If you don't have a licensed pro come in and install for you, you don't qualify. Even though we've cut our energy consumption by 30-50%, depending on weather, we get f*cked.

The reason it MIGHT benefit us is that I have been betting on a stock that, should it pay off, could incur some decent capital gains taxes. Never thought I'd be rooting FOR more taxes...
