Thank You, Kevin and Andrea

I want to thank Kevin (PNG) and his lovely wife Andrea for the wonderful event. They are first-class folks who worked very hard to put this together. West Fest IV was a resounding success: Great hosts, wonderful venue, magnificent people, and an overall GREAT time!

Thank you, sir, and Andrea for putting all this together. I think I can speak for everyone when I say we had an absolutely fantastic time!!

Big kudos also to Joe from Crevier; thank you for your support! I also want to thank Lawrence (Aceyduecy) from InVision for HIS support.

What a wonderful time. I will miss all of you...

This is my third meet, and it's always bitter-sweet. Great people and unforgettably fun times; alas, after two or three days, we all have to go home to our "real" lives. The great memories will last a very, very long time, though...

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Juan

I second that! Kudos to Kevin/PNG for putting on a fabulous event. The amount of dedication and hard work that he put forth will be remembered for a very long time. The Empire Polo Club was a gorgeous location for a meet and my wife and I had a wonderful 2 evenings at the La Quinta Resort.

Westfest IV will be a hard act to follow!

Thanks again, Kevin and Andrea!

Is it over??? As much stress as it was to plan and pull off WestFest IV, the payoff was tremendous. (Thanks to cmyX5go/Laura for constantly telling me to calm down.) I told someone on Saturday that I could have planned the event at the Taj Mahal but if the people weren't there is would be a big fat nothing. It is the people that makes a meet and we have a whole bunch of them. I want to sincerely thank everyone who attended. You made everything so very worth it.

The opportunity to meet face to face is priceless. What was strange was that meeting most of you guys for the first time in person felt like greeting an old friend. I didn't realize that our relationships could be so well established that the first face to face would seem so easy. Even the people with whom I had never conversed were so nice and so friendly. It was just a super relaxed and fun atmosphere.

I'll be responding to other posts that I have yet to look at but here is the first of many THANK YOUS to those who attended and those who wanted to attend but could and but still supported the event in spirit. THANK YOU to Joe@Crevier, Jaime from Meguiar's, and Law and Larry from Invision. You guys are awesome!

Andrea and I enjoyed meeting everyone and spending our weekend with you guys. Thank you all for being so welcoming to Andrea. As Kaefer/Juan stated, it is bittersweet. It's back to reality and no more group meals where we can talk and laugh. No more hanging out with our buddies... until next time.

THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!!

My sentiments exactly. As I drove down to the DC meet I was thinking what the hell am I doing - going to meet strangers I met on the net. It was just like seeing old friends. It's amazing. What an great bunch of people. Even Blondboi! What a fabulous juicy outfit!

More thank you's

I wanted to send out more specific thanks.

Joe@Crevier:

You have been a supporter of ours since the beginning. WestFest would not be the same without you. Truthfully, without you there would be no WestFest. Thank you for your generosity in donating the food, raffle prizes, and goodie bags. Most importantly though, thank you for your time and dedication. You run what is probably the largest BMW parts departments in the country and you still find the time to take care of us. You're awesome! The food was delicious and the raffle prizes were so cool. Who would have thought you could win a Hawkeye Portable GPS system, cordless phone systems, or an HP photo printer in addition to BMW stuff? The goodie bags were full of cool stuff too. (Perhaps someone could post some pics since I was too busy to take pictures.) Thank you to your wife and son for coming out to help again. They're a big part of WestFest too. I apologize if I overlooked something. I want you to know that my appreciation is sincere. Please pass my thanks along to Mr. Crevier.

Jaime from Meguiar's:

Thank you for again joining us at WestFest. You are a big part of what makes our events special. Thank you sharing your knowledge with us and being there to answer questions. Thank you also for donating the cases Meguiar's Quick Detailer. That stuff is amazing and many people will now have extra shiny X5's. I apologize if I overlooked anything. I appreciate you taking the time to come out and share your vast knowledge and time.

Tom from EAS:

Thank you to Tom for his support. Unfortunately due to an emergency he was not able to attend but I want it to be known that EAS helped sponsor the event and his support helped make the event a reality. It is a shame he didn't get to show off his products to us and we didn't get to meet the man behind EAS but I know there will be a next time. Thank you Tom!

Lawrence & Larry from Invision:

Thank you guys from making the long trip out from Florida and for helping make WestFest IV happen. It is so unique that a manufacturer who does not sell products directly to the end user would come all that way to meet us but it shows the level of dedication you guys have to your product and to us. I appreciate the effort to get to know us as individuals and you guys socializing and hanging out with us this weekend. Your product is simply amazing. As a new Invision Revolution II owner I can state that those DVD headrest monitors are incredible! They are so well designed, well thought out, and the quality is so good. The security covers are the cherry on top of a very, very nice sundae. I am already planning on going out to the garage to watch them. I will post some pictures in a seperate thread to talk more about them. Thanks for letting us hang around while Larry installed them in my X5. We X5 nuts love to see how things are done and how the X5 is taken apart. It was highly educational. Thank you again for your generosity.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to my new iPod MOST Intergration kit for my E90 330i. I don't deserve it. I didn't plan WestFest III or IV in hopes of getting a gift other than people having a good time. I am a little embarrassed by the gift actually. You guys are what made the event. I just picked a date and a place. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thanks to you JV for sending me the X5world banner. It was strung up prominently. When I send it back to you I'll have to include a special memento of the event. (Hint: See my last post.)
