Details
Correct me if I am wrong, but here are the details so far:
Meet up at 10am on Jan 5th at Starbucks and Fred Meyer parking lot. Head over to Leavenworth (about 85 miles?). Does anyone have those Motorola two way radios? Attending 1) cpatzer 2) Rearro 3) DipnX5 4) jeepguynw 5) bumer 6) 7) 8) 9) 10) Anyone else? Questions When the date gets closer we should get a reservation somewhere for lunch. If we do that we will need to know how many people are bringing guests. http://www.leavenworth.org/index.html Thanks cpatzer for getting this rolling!

I'd recommend Gustav's for lunch. It's a burger and brew pub in the big onion dome building in the heart of Leavenworth. Casual food and reasonable prices. Don't know if a reservation would be needed.

I think we wouldn't have problem finding lunch place in Leavenworth. Especially 5 of us........ Come on people sign up! It'll be fun. Just a suggestion: we can meet on Sunday. Some people might work on Saturday or have other plans. I agree that everybody (who is meeting) should confirm a coupe of days prior to the trip.

Sunday won't work for me. It'd be better on Saturday. And on Sunday the returning traffic on the Pass can be a real hassle.
And there should be more than 5 people, even if no other drivers turn up. I'll be bringing a friend, and Rearro mentioned bringing his parents. Not sure about the others. Any other restaurant is fine with me, if Gustav's isn't suitable. Dave

Gustav's great. If there is more then 10 people may be we should get reservations. I'm fine either way. So Seattle is out of question for a meeting. I have seen some E46 fanatics meeting up on Alki not too far from Saulties restaurant by the Boat Launch parking lot. Can be great panoramic picture with Downtown Seattle as a background. There are a couple of new good places to eat on Alki. Just a food for thought.

Bumping this thread up.
Are we still going to do this? People say the Seattle area X5ers never meet. Let's prove them wrong. Who's up for this? Plans: Meet this coming Saturday, 1/5 at 10 AM near Starbucks in the Fred Meyer parking lot in Monroe. Drive Highway 2 over Stevens Pass to Leavenworth. Lunch TBD in Leavenworth (maybe at Gustav's?) Check out the area, then drive back. Recommend you have approved chains or snow tires due to snow conditions in the Pass. I'm in, for sure. Anyone else? Please confirm. Dave
