Calling ALL Aussies!!!
Hi Guys,
After many years owning high performance jap imports etc, i have moved on the greener pastures of the v8 X5. The thing i'm missing is the club cruises and occasional track day. So please if your in NSW (or willing to travel) and interested in events like the ones listed above , drop me a line on this thread, and as long as there is more than just me, i'll start the ball rolling... Cheers

From Katoomba, you can either make your own way back down to Sydney via the Great Western Highway (which is a lot shorter), or any other way which suits you best. Again, depending on interest and numbers, we can all cruise back down to Sydney together. I am sure it will be a great day, with lots of great roads to drive with great scenery too! The mountains are fantastic at this time of year! Date: Sunday 20th July, 2008 Time: 9:30am, for a 10am departure Meeting Point: Under the Ferris Wheel. On the Corner of Riverina Avenue and Australia Avenue (Pictured below)  Where to: Katoomba What to bring: Full tank of fuel, money for lunch when we get there, sensible driving attitude and CB Radios if you have them Who: Anyone who wants to bring their BMW along Written directions with a map (Like the one below) will be provided for all participants. Hey I'm sorry I missed this last meet but didn't have an X5 them, would have been a hoot.
Hi I'm from Sydney, anyone up for a meet soon, we now own a 2007 X5 4.8 having traded a Honda Civic Type R. We also own a MINI Cooper S and do lots of drives with ClubMINI and NSW Pirates in our MINI's. So Im keen to catch up with other X5 owners and do a drive day, we live close to Homebush Olympic Park. Some suggestions I'll put forward are South Coast Macquarrie pass, Kangeroo Valley Rd Noth direction - Putty Rd & George Downs Drive West direction - Jenolan Caves Road I'm into photography so the trip would be well documented with lots of PPLS cars We have UHF's to keep intouch with each other whilst on convoy WHO'S UP FOR IT? Hi evryone,
Very short notice but there are a few of us BMW people (MINI's, 135i & X5) going on a drive to Wisemans Ferry leaving form PITS (Pie in the Sky) on OPH (Old Pacific Hwy) near Cowan. We will be meeting up at 9am Sunday morning and leaving about 10:30 am to head to Wisemans for lunch, attached is a PDF of the route and image of the map.
