BMW Factory Tour Reservation
Here's some more info: Tour Times and Hours of Operation The Zentrum Museum Open Monday - Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Entrance to the Zentrum is free. Guided Factory Tours Tours of BMW Manufacturing Co., the only BMW factory in the United States, are available leaving from the Zentrum. Tour visitors must be 12 years of age or older. No high heels (heel and sole more than two inches high), or "spike" heels (minimum of 1 inch diameter across horizontal plane), open toe, or open heel shoes are permitted. No cameras allowed in the factory. Reservations are required. Guided tours of the factory are $5.00 US. A discount rate of $3.50 US is available for students and BMWCCA members. Tours are available Mondays through Fridays at 9:45 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:45 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. To schedule a Plant Tour call 1-888-TOUR-BMW (868-7269)

nah...
 We'll be travelling with a friend from SFO so I had to book early just to make sure that we got the time slot that'll allow us ample time to drive back up to PA... They weren't taking reservation until yesterday for Oct. schedules so I had to share the info to make sure that anyone planning to go will get the schedule desired.

Update on Factory Tour and... Karting??
OK, I called the BMW Zentrum, and they do not have any times available in the morning for us. The earliest we can get is 1:00 PM I have NOT made the reservations because I know all of you have to get on the road, and would probably prefer a earlier time. Please let me know if you still want to attend!
ALSO.... For those staying through the weekend, how about going Karting on Sunday? There is a place here in Charlotte called Victory Lane Karting that has a pretty nice indoor track. I've been there a couple of times, and it's just a blast!! Anyone interested?? Again, please let me know, and I'll call and see if we can get a group discount. Juan

I'd still be in for Monday. I don't have to be in DC until Tuesday afternoon
As for Sunday I have no plans at this point but thought going for a nice drive somewhere might be of interest. But karting could be fun too !! - Jan
