Zaino and Ultrashield Rep Possibly Coming!

Last week, I met Steve Treece, the local Zaino and Ultrashield representative. He's a wonderful guy who tirelessly promotes both Zaino and Ultrashield throughout this city. He can be seen in auto shows and car club meetings. Anyway, I talked to him today and he's interested in attending our meet! (He called me this morning thinking the meet was today.)

Ultrashield, as you surely know is 3M's "invisible bra." I have seen this product, and it's amazing! You can hardly notice it's there. He told me that that he normally charges $475 for an X5 install, but that he'd be willing to do it for $425 for us, if anyone is interested. Check out his web site here.

Any recommendations for a car "wash" where we could clean up our cars before the meet ? I don't think my X5 will be in 'show' condition after driving down from NH ....

Yes. One of them is my house. I have Zaino car wash soap there, and you're more than welcome to use it. OR, there is one of those "drive-through," brushless car washes right off the exit you'd take for the meet. It will not get your X nice and clean (no brushes = not the best wash), but it will make it presentable. Let me know if you want me to tell you where that it.

For those who may be considering having 3M Paint Protection Film installed at the X5 Worlds, UltraShield is working closely with 3M in developing a vastly improved product. I have installed this "beta" version on Ferraris, Aston Martins, Porsches, etc., and there is a very noticiable difference in orange peel reduction and clarity. 3M calls this new product "ScotchGard High Performance Package" and it is only available from UltraShield licensees who are participating in the test program. We will receive yet another iteration of that product this week.
