Yes.....I have trekked back to the Jeep family. In the midst of changing jobs, homefront issue's and a host of other financial burdens, the X5 audience in my household will have to take a back seat.

I looked at many options for my next vehicle. Lease a new X5, Lease a new X3, Lease a new FX, or buy a used X5....or buy a new Jeep. Based on my mileage (or future excursions) leasing was not going to be a option. That means purchasing a new X5/X3 was out. I was seriously looking a buying a pre-owned X5, but with warranty concerns, and the money difference between a pre-owned and a new Jeep, I decided last minute to look at a new Jeep.

After many weeks of determining the right options, and sourcing the car from any dealer in the USA, I found a vehicle in OH, that my dealer in MD would get for me. 43K MSRP, bought for 38K. Is it a X5? NO. Is it similar? yeah kinda.

What I miss the most - HUD, Comfort seats, Sport suspension and the sound...in that order. In fact, color selection and wheel choices were my main concern to keep that KYZ X5 look.

KYZRSOSE will live on.....and if I can't get over my squabbles with the Jeep, maybe a used X5 can get back into the picture....

But now...do I show up in the 325CiC for the meet, or crash the party with a Yankee Jeep?

I cant believe the day has come for this announcement. I will be unable to attend this meet since i have two people coming to test drive and potentially buy my X5. I never wanted to see this day come but I can only hope that I will be in the market for another one of these bad boys in a couple of years. Dont worry, this is not my last meet, but i'll be that guy in a honda for the next one. have a patron shot for me members and wish me luck

Say it ain't so! The buyer is gonna be a very lucky BMW owner . Like me, you must stick around. Remember, we came for the information, but ended up staying for the friendships!

So, your Honda and my Jeep will be odd-man out at the meets. I can live with that!

I will always stick around. Everyone I have met on here has been such an enjoyment to chill with. I'm glad I have met those that I have and will continue to have a close knitted relationship with all and continue to go to most meets. Who else would bring the patron?

Justin man! I am totally bummed out that you will not be able to make it....if anything changes we are just an hour and some change away on Sunday! Would be damn good to see ya!!!! Good luck with the sale....wanna sell me your stereo system....lol...mine is shot...door speakers blown....etc....just have not had a chance to upgrade!!
