I know it's disguised but it's not looking very good at all. :iagree: that it apes the Accord Coupé and its cousin the Acura CL. There is nothing special about this "new" 3er coupé. :tsk:

I know what ever it looks like at the end, it will haul ass and have the sweet V8 in it....:D can't wait.

I think it is ugly....the e46 looks MEAN...from any angle ...that thing (in the pictures) does not look any different then what the next e90 coupe would look like....I hope they toughen it up before they start selling!

4th & 5th photos - converitble hardtop? That'd be sweet!

I like the E46 M3 myself. This design looks like it got hit with an estrogen shot.

I kinda like guys, just like the e90 give it time to grow on you...I think it's should look better "in person" :thumbup:

I'm reserving judgment. A lot of the interesting details are covered up and touched-up photos are just somebody's wild-ass guess. No side gills on the M? That would be an undesirable break from tradition.

Yes.......I always wait until I can see it up close and then I judge. I hope it looks mean - I know it will sound mean with that V8......I can't wait to see it & hear it.............and even drive it!!

Ill admit i dont know if i like the styling yet. But i definatley dont hate it. I like the 4 door 3 so i should like the 2 door. I hope the final M3 is a little more aggresive looking than these spy shots that were taken. i already have one on order anyway. im #1 in line because i know im gonna love that V8 when its spining and sreaming like a bat out of hell at 8250rpm. through its 7speed SMG. how the hell could i not like it.

haha yeah, good point ... although, i dunno :shrug: maybe i'm getting old at 26 lol but if there's one thing my x5 4.4 has made me realize, it's that there's a lot to be said about sportiness *WITH* comfort/luxury/good looks ... hence my recent infatuation with, e.g., the CLS55 AMG ... it's really the best of ALL worlds ... that said, I'm *REALLY* hoping BMW can pull off this new M3 ... i WANT to love it, really, i do! :) kinda like the new M5 ...

Speaking of the M5, funny coincidence: i was having dinner with three of my friends on Sunset Blvd a few months ago -- at that french restaurant Le Petit Four -- and we were talking about the new M5 (and two of the friends were girls lol) and how we wanted so much to love it, but just couldn't ... and then, as though on queue, we hear this earth-shattering scream and as I turn to find the source of the dying banshee, my brain had already ruled out any ferrari, lambo, or any other exotic ...

and then my eyes saw it: a black M5 -- with aftermarket exhaust -- and my heart just stopped. it literally knocked the wind out of me.

point? i guess we'll have to wait and see :)

Wow. Now thats a coincidence. M motors are awesome. Probably the best high performance engines out there. They are tough to match.

These were posted on bimmerforums and e90post.com as well... think they were saying the blue one is the new 3-series coupe or the new 335 coming out.

Yea the blue one is def a 335.
