MOST Ipod kit installed
3 Attachment(s)
fairly straightforward 20 min install.
Drop the glovebox (not very necessary in my opinion) Remove the CD changer (loosen 2 smal torx bolt) Disconnect the plug from the CD changer and plug into the Ipod integration unit plug ipod in Test by turning it on and scrolling through to make sure they can see the songs on IPOD. Then tie wrap the unit to the tray (read, GHETTO!) Reinstall glovebox. Enjoy.. Here are some pics. |
3 questions. Where did you get it? And how much did it cost? And if you don't need to pull the glove box what's the procedure. (We don't have the changer)

Looks great. I like your taste in music:thumbup:. Playlist is similiar to my iPod.

got it at East Bay. Got 20% off so with tax ~262. (MSRP is $299) If you do not have the CD changer, just plug it straight in to the x18180 harness and you're done. 10 mins. 1/8 can of beer job. If you get it, bring it over and I'll install it for you.

Very nice Josh! The installation looks like it was a snap. Unfortunately for me, it might not be that easy for me to do. Check this post by Jonathan Spira re: the E90. Supposedly there are a bunch of software issues that need to be addressed with the installation. Maybe it's just an E90 thing. :dunno:
