E92 looks sad while the E90 is mean

Thats my dealer. Didn't know they had TiAg coupe. The Space Gray coupe is sitting right next to it. It looks like SG its so dark.

:iagree: I think the smaller headlights and the more rounded nose of the E92 makes it look a little sad.

The E90 has grown on me since its introduction, but I doubt if the E92 will have the same effect. It looks so blah..... the E90 is so much more attractive.

Two statements made by other members come to mind which I agree with.
  • The E92 looks like a Honda.
  • The E46 is still the best looking BMW 3 series model thus far.

For those of us, from the troglodyte/non-intellegentsia school
and model ID challenged, which is which, which is the "new" model, etc.? :)

The E92 coupe is the new model.

1st pic: one on left is the new E92 coupe. On right is the E90 3-series like the one Juan has.;)

2nd pic: On left is E90 and on right is E92.

Thanks LM! ...
I was sorta guessing and guessing incorrectly.

I deduced the 92 was "newer" than the 90; I jes'
didn't know which was freakin which!

I like the 92 front slightly more than the 90, but
I'd take either one, if they had some "trunk".

Both models' rear ends would be lost in a sea of
UJM cars, if the nomenclature tags were removed, imo.
Thanks again, LM

I can pick out a sharpshin hawk vs a red tail, at
100 yds, but my BeamER model/designator skills are
suspect.

Speaking of Juan, we haven't heard or seen anymore of his E90. How's it going with it Juan? Any mods yet? I spend much time thinking of what mods I'd like to do and then resolve to not spend any money on it. I took delivery of mine June 10th this year and have only about 2300 miles. :tsk:

Why must BMW always make the coupe/cabrio uglier than the sedan version of the 3?

The E90 looks better, and it just has better proportions!

As a former owner of 2 E36's (318i and M3 sedan) I would agree with you, but I'd say the E46 M3 is the show stopper when comparing the two lines. So I'll call the E36 a close second to the E46 and say the coupes from both lines look better than the E92.

If they put a rear valance on the back of the E92, it would help to eliminate the big butt look.
