What to do with my E39 M5?
 

The new M3 is a long ways away. The first ones are not coming until late 2007 i heard. maybe even early 2008. Im sick of waiting. Now here is my problem. The new M5 I just dont like enough to buy. The new M6 im not gonna buy because I would rather buy a used Gallardo or 360 CS. But I want something new now. My 400hp in the M5 is becoming boring plus I sold my E46 M3.
So now Im thinking sell the 2002 M5 I have. Buy A mint condition 2003 M5 with low miles and supercharge it. I already looked around and active autoworks in Miami offers a Kit for 19K installed and puts out over
600hp. So that car would basically be able to kill anything on the road after supercharged. So what should I do? Just wait for the new M3 or blow some money now on the SCed M5.

Why not just supercharge your current M5?

Id rather have a newer one because if i SC it I want to keep it for a good amount of time. And plus the last model year is always the most reliable. Do you know what changes if any were made from the 02 to the 03 models.
Lastly Mine is silver and although I like it I have always wanted the Bright Blue. I forgot what that color is called but it is similar to the blue on the 4.8is. I love that color.

It aint easy being me. Thats for sure.

I am not a big MB fan but the new E63 is nasty...have you looked at any of the 2007 MBs

That would be LeMan Blue... my favorite color next to Alpine of course. Looks even hotter with the black/blue interior and aluminum trim... an almost impossible combination to find and I saw one for sale ONCE in the Roundel. No changes were made from 02 to 03 to my knowledge... only time a change was made was 00 to 01 or maybe it was 01 to 02.

The E63 amg is nasty but I just dont like the feel of the MBs and I refuse to drive a slush box performance car like an amg. It has to be stick or smg for me to buy one. But I think AMG is realizing that autos suck because I heard they are going with a audi style dsg gearbox which are excellent. If they do that i may consider a benz

how about a new rs4 or the new rs6 (not sure if thats available yet), or if you're looking to spend a bit more an aston martin v8 vantage ~100k
